Generating 250 horsepower, and 280 lb.-ft. of torque., — ensuring every drive is anything but boring. 2.5L I-4 Hybrid Engine produces 192 total system horsepower between the engine and battery. Plus, it uses regenerative braking to capture energy normally lost through braking to help charge the battery — helping to potentially prolong your overall range. The available Plug-in Hybrid 2.5L I-4 Engine combines great acceleration with impressive range — while producing 210 total system horsepower between the engine and battery. For added convenience, you can use the included Level 1 Mobile Power Cord to charge your vehicle using any standard 120V outlet. Standard selectable drive modes tune vehicle performance and handling to road conditions. Pick the one suited to your situation... and your Escape® SUV can do the rest.
