There's No Work Truck Quite Like the 2019 Ford Super Duty® F-350

For construction workers, project managers, and other tradespeople here in our Alpharetta neck of the north Georgia woods, it has always been the heavy-duty pickup of choice, going full-size on the orders of the day-job. Best of all, it's back, better, and tougher than ever, right here at Angela Krause Ford.

That craftsmanship excellence didn't just come off a factory line, either: our automaker threw at it the worst of real-world conditions like those from Roswell to Marietta, Johns Creek and beyond to make it the draft-horse it is today. Ford put the new 2019 F-350 through the wringer, testing it over 12 million miles, at temperatures of -20 to 120 degrees. They rolled it up six-degree grades across 500 miles, subjected it to four-post frame twists, trekked across gravel, into choking dust, through water and damaging brine, and sucked it down into the mud. Ford even intentionally did it all with worn or broken parts. At the end of the day, "Built Ford Tough" came out on top. You can see why, too.

For one, its endurance owes to a high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy body and fully boxed, more-than-95-percent high-strength steel frame, whether that's a 2019 F-350 XL, the step-up XLT, well-appointed Lariat, or fully loaded King Ranch®.

Secondly, it owes to a choice of two monster engines: a 6.2-liter Flex Fuel gas V8 putting out a go-anywhere 430 pound-feet of torque or a 6.7-liter Power Stroke® turbo-diesel, B20-capable, shelling 450 horsepower at 935 beastly pound-feet. The latter features a driver-activated engine-exhaust brake for better downhill control around Sandy Springs and Milton, and both come paired with a choice of TorqShift® six-speed transmission. The result: class-leading payload and towing support. Count on a 7,640-pound max payload rating, maximum conventional towing support for up to 21,000 pounds, a 27,500-pound fifth-wheel tow capability, and a sky-high 35,000 pounds of gooseneck towing support. The 2019 Super Duty flagship even goes best-in-class on its GCWR rating, 43,400 pounds.

Thirdly, F-350 remains a favorite given its available solid front axle-equipped, electronic shift-on-the-fly four-wheel-drive (4x4) system. With it, you gain the power to operate aftermarket front-end upfits like heavy-duty snowplows and more. Plus, there's the option to equip a Live-Drive Power Takeoff (PTO) Provision with Mobile Mode, which enables powering multiple accessories simultaneously when the engine is running, whether you're on the move or ground to a halt. Factor in an available class-exclusive Trailer Reverse Guidance system, optional 180- and 360-degree cameras, and an available Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System, which features 360-degree and rear CHMSL cameras, and it's easy to load up and head out with your eye on your quarry at all times.

Of course, it's also beloved for being the safe bet. 2019 F-350 features, among other drive-time securities, AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control® and Trailer Sway Control to keep things on even footing, an optional BLIS® (Blind Spot Monitoring System) with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Tow for situational awareness, and available adaptive steering and cruise control with a collision warning. There's even a trailer tire pressure monitoring system to keep you apprised of PSI.

F-350 is also exceptionally accommodating, for both work and play, home to cloth and vinyl bench seating and all one could hope to find in a mobile office. There's available SYNC® Basic infotainment, with voice command, Bluetooth, and helpful 911 Assist®, as well as a SYNC 3 touch-screen option with SiriusXM support, available navigation, and smartphone compatibility. You can manage your equipment with the optional BoxLink&#trade; storage system, too, accessing the bed easily via a remote tailgate release and tailgate step and power-locking back up when it's time to head out again.

Needless to say, there's almost no job a new 2019 Ford F-350 can't handle. After all, it's a Super Duty. Eager to step into the driver's seat to see what all the shop talk's about?
